Appreciating and preserving the resources of our precious planet are high on my priority list. I’ve met a number of like-minded people here on Maui who are living off the grid by producing their own solar and wind power to run the appliances and household electronics. I highly advocate this and other practices that promote keeping the planet green and healthy on my blog. I decided it was time to practice what I preach so I started researching renewable energy solutions for the home.

What is renewable energy? Renewable energy solutions refer to those energy solutions that can keep churning energy without exhausting the earth’s resources.
